Starting from the parking areas near the Cogne cemetery (at the roundabout), follow Viale M. Cavagnet until you reach Piazza E. Chanoux, the heart of the village. From there, continue to the right along Via Grand Paradis until you reach Son-de-Prò, located in the upper section of the Sant’Orso meadows.

At this point, you can take either the Alta Via No. 2 trail on the left or the farm road (which serves as a cross-country ski trail in winter); both routes lead to the charming hamlet of Valnontey, nestled in one of the most authentic corners of the region.

From the hamlet, the path continues alongside the stream—you can choose either the left or right bank—until you reach the Fietzelin bridge. Continuing along the orographic right bank, you will pass the characteristic small houses of Vermiana. Shortly after, you will arrive at the Erfaulet bridge and its springs (1,840 m), set within a stunning natural environment.

The return journey follows the same route, allowing you to once again enjoy the beauty of the valley.

Once back at Son-de-Prò, you can return to the village via the municipal road or continue along the track leading toward Sylvenoire and Lillaz (see the itinerary: "The Sylvenoire Plateau and the Lillaz Waterfalls").
