Numerous 8-seater cabins depart from the city centre of Aosta and reach the tourist resort of Pila in 18 minutes, surrounded by fir and larch woods at 1,800 metres above sea level.

From December 2025, the Pila-Couis-Stella cableway is also operational: in just 15 minutes, it reaches the Stella di Pila, an exceptional panoramic point at 2,723 metres to admire the Alps from a spectacular perspective. The view stretches over the highest peaks of the Aosta Valley, from Mont Blanc to Grand Combin, from the Matterhorn to Monte Rosa.

In winter, you will find a state-of-the-art ski area, featuring:

  • 70 km of ski slopes and freeride areas
  • a fun park for children

  • numerous hiking trails
  • an adventure park
  • mountain bike routes

Both lifts have intermediate stations:

  • the Aosta–Pila gondola reaches its final station after the stops at Les Fleurs and Plan Praz
  • the Pila–Stella gondola arrives at its top station after the intermediate stops of Gorraz and Couis.
