Sunset hike with dinner

The traditional Walser villages of the Ayas Valley—Mascognaz, Cuneaz, Crest, and Frantze—are gems not to be missed. Each has its own unique character, a story to tell, and at sunset they reveal their full magic.

The circular hike will begin in the second half of the day, when the light is at its brightest and the mountain begins to fade.

At the end of the climb, a convivial dinner awaits you at sunset on the splendid Novez terrace, before returning to the starting point equipped with headlamps.

For those who don't want to tackle the return leg at night, there's the option of taking the cable car at 10:00 PM.

Difficulty: E - hiking

Required equipment: sportswear (layered clothing), hiking boots, windbreaker, and headlamp. Water and any snacks for the climb. Trekking poles are recommended.
