Photo exhibition - Contrasts. Tales of a world in the balance

The collaboration between Forte di Bard and Agence France-Presse, one of the main and most authoritative news agencies in the world, is renewed. After the success of "Non c'è più tempo" which investigated the consequences of climate change on the planet in 2024, the exhibition "Contasti. Racconti di un mondo in bilico" (Contrasts. Tales of a world in the balance) aims once again to shake consciences and offer food for thought on the contemporary world.
The exhibition, hosted in the rooms of the Opera Mortai of the Bard Fort, is made up of 84 photographs which aim to highlight the contrasts and inequalities that mark society and countries around the world. From the economy to war, from cultural traditions to the world of art and entertainment, without neglecting the climate emergency and unstoppable urbanisation. These are some of the key themes of the exhibition project which parallels not only different and distant contexts but also contrasting situations within the same social realities, from the Americas to Europe, from Asia to Africa, providing a great fresco of an increasingly precarious world: ours.
