Gran Paradiso National Park turns 100 years old!

A day full of events to tell and reflect, in different ways and suitable for everyone, on the great themes of climate change, sustainability and biodiversity.

The programme, in which science and art intertwine to create an engaging and dynamic experience, includes guided excursions in the morning and, starting at 3 p.m., a theatre show, a laboratory for children and a conference/debate with the writer and journalist Enrico Camanni; at 9 p.m., a special evening with concert with live music and narrative projection.

All the events are centred on the important and topical issues mentioned, while the celebration of Biodiversity Day will be the fil rouge of the entire programme, with engaging citizen science activities led by researchers and experts from the Park.

These activities and the final snack are funded by the Alcotra European project “PROBIODIV” - Promoting biodiversity and habitats as a factor of sustainable development of territories (Interreg V-A France-Italie-PITEM BIODIV’ALP).
