Gressoney Monte Rosa Ski School
Ski instructors - Gressoney-La-TrinitéSki and snowboard instructors, national instructors, ski club trainers and telemark instructors are happy to cater professionally to every need. A team of 60 continuously specialising professionals is ready to passionately pass on all their know-how with the aim of embroidering the best possible experience on your skin.
Private and group lessons are organised.

Municipal library and Walser library
Libraries - Gressoney-Saint-JeanThe library, which is open all year long, has books for adults, young people and children. All volumes can be consulted in the library or taken home. In order to use the offered services, you must join the library. Membership is free; you just need to show a valid identity paper. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. The loan of books is free.
The library has two free internet points and wireless access to the internet.
Accessibility
As a result of the mapping carried out in 2023 as part of the "Lo sci per tutte le abilità" (Skiing for everyone) project, the following was found:
- The library is located on the first floor and it can be reached by a lift, whose size and characteristics conform to the requirements.
- The toilet has a good free moving space and is equipped with the necessary auxiliary devices.
- The car park in front of the building has some parking spaces for people with disabilities.
Camping Margherita
Camps - Gressoney-Saint-JeanOpen since 1971, the family run camping ground owes its name to grandma Grittle, the corresponding walser name for Margherita (Margaret). <br>The camping ground, located in a wide level area encompassing over 20,000 sq.m along the banks of the Lys river and surrounded by the charming routes of cross-country ski tracks, is located close to the characteristic centre of the village and to the ski-lift facilities of Weissmatten. Furthermore it is the camping ground closest to the ski slopes of the Monterosa Ski district and is an excellent starting point for numerous walks during summer.

As a result of the mapping carried out in 2023 as part of the "Lo sci per tutte le abilità" (skiing for everyone) project, the following was found:
- 2 accessible floors with adequate entrance and toilets
- Presence of an enclosed platform lift
- Three dedicated parking spaces

- All public premises are located on the ground floor and have no difference in level.
- The height of the interphone next to the door conforms to the requirements.
- The toilets are accessible and equipped with the necessary auxiliary devices.
Gressoney-Saint-Jean's town hall
Local bodies - Gressoney-Saint-JeanThe Town Hall has its seat at Villa Margherita, ancient dwelling of the noble Beck Peccoz Family, that has hosted Queen Margherita of Savoia for several years. Some among the most beautiful halls can be visited on request, during the opening times of the municipal offices.
The offices are open from Monday to Friday. The opening hours are available on the municipality’s official website.
Accessibility
As a result of the mapping carried out in 2023 as part of the "Lo sci per tutte le abilità" (Skiing for everyone) project, the following was found:
- One of the entrances is equipped with a ramp made of chequer plate.
- All floors can be reached by an inner stairlift.
- The door leading into the bathroom’s vestibule conforms to the requirements, while the toilets doors are too narrow and the inner spaces do not satisfy the minimum standards. The toilets are therefore not accessible in a wheelchair.
Hotel Gran Baita
Hotels - Gressoney-Saint-JeanThe Hotel is situated in a particularly quiet area just a few minutes away from Savoia Castle and the picturesque Regina Margherita walk. It is 700 metres from the pedestrian centre of Gressoney-Saint-Jean and 400 metres from Gover lake. The ski lifts can be reached easily. The Hotel is 1 kilometre away from the Weissmatten ski resort, 4 kilometres from the starting point for Punta Jolanda and 8 kilometres from that of Staffal. The 25 kilometre cross country ski ring is only 50 metres away.

Hotel Lyshaus
Hotels - Gressoney-Saint-JeanThe Lyshaus Hotel is just 600 meters from the Weissmatten ski lifts and is located right in front of the bus stop for the Gressoney ski area.
The rooms have wood panelling, furnishings with attention to detail, and antiques complete the mountain style of the facility; the Di Maio lamps, made of Murano glass and wrought iron by the artisan firm Mechini of Florence, make the environment warm and traditional.Thanks to the new "comodog" rooms, equipped with a comfortable sofa reserved for the dog, tasty bowls, a fun welcome box and a blanket to place on the sofa or bed, you can spend a peaceful holiday with your pet fiend and the rest of the family.

Ski instructors - Gressoney-Saint-JeanThe Gressoney Ski School is available to help you to improve your cross-country skiing techniques, by intensely experiencing this winter sport, guiding you to respect nature and discover the mountain environment in all its aspects.
Group and private lessons for adults, children and disabled, night courses and hikes with snowshoes.
Weissmatten Ski School
Ski instructors - Gressoney-Saint-JeanThe Weissmatten Ski School welcomes you to the slopes of the Monterosaski area and is available to help you improve your downhill and new discipline techniques, including snowboarding, telemark and carving, guiding you to respect nature and discover the mountain environment in its many aspects.

- At the threshold there is an 8-centimetre-high step.
- In the interior the free moving space conforms to the requirements.
- Between the road and the paved floor surrounding the building, there is a ramp with a gradient of over 8%.
