The Aosta Valley is finally ready to host Oktagon, which arrives at the Courmayeur Sports Center thanks to patron Carlo Di Biasi and one of the spearheads of world kickboxing, Martine Michieletto from the Aosta Valley and the Fighting Club VDA of Master Manuel Bethaz.
Michieletto, number 1 in the ISKA Kickboxing world ranking (in the weight category up to 57 kg), faces Debora Evora, former WAKO Pro world champion and currently competing in the Senshi circuit, in place of Sarah Moussaddak, forced to withdraw due to a foot injury, in the main fight of the event that awards, over the distance of 5 rounds, the ISKA world title.
Evora, an experienced athlete already known on the international scene, recently defeated the French Lindsey Thomas and previously Montana Aerts, daughter of the legendary Peter Aerts, on May 8 in Lisbon. Martine Michieletto also comes from a crushing victory (unanimous verdict on the distance of 3 rounds), over the German Charly Glaser, last March 23 in Campione d'Italia, when the arrival of Oktagon in Valle d'Aosta was revealed.
In total, during Oktagon Valle d'Aosta, 36 athletes will step into the ring distributed in 18 matches of two different specialties, kickboxing and muay thai, with three very high-level challenges, including two world titles and with the television coverage of DAZN and the presence of partner brands of the caliber of RTL 102.5 and Leone 1947, always alongside the Oktagon format.
