- Recommended clothing: Necessary clothing: hiking boots, windproof and /or wayerproof jacket, comfortable long trekking trousers, mountain backpack, cap, thermos with water, sunscreen, sunglasses. Recommended equipment: poles, camera and binoculars. The temperature may vary during the day. Layered clothing is recommended.

The Champorcher valley is characterised by abundant rainfalls and by a large number of streams. A lot of bridges were built in this valley to cross the lakes and waterfalls of the area. You will walk along the itinerary passing the village of Pontboset and six bridges over the Ayasse stream with its emerald green ponds, until you reach the Ratus Gorge, a canyon carved by the waters of the river Brenva creating a deep gorge. Breathtaking views, spectacular landscapes and unique emotions are guaranteed !
