The guided excursion is free
- Meeting time and place: 8 a.m. Issogne Castle.
- From the meeting point all participants will travel by their own cars to Pianfey (Issogne), starting point of the hike.
- Hiking time: loop itinerary. It takes about 5 hours to complete the whole loop itinerary
- Height difference: 700 metres approx. All participants should have a good physical training.
- Difficulty: E (for hikers)
- Number of participants: minimum 10, maximum 25. All adults.
- Recommended equipment and clothing: comfortable clothing suitable for trekking, trekking boots, sunglasses, waterproof jacked , windproof jacket, drinks to be consumed during the excursion.
- Other useful information: each participant should bring his own packed lunch
In case of bad weather (the weather conditions will be evaluated the day before the excursion) the hike will be cancelled. In case the hike is cancelled participants will receive a SMS

The municipal administration organizes a particular hike to observe the blooming of peonies in La Borney. During the guided hike you will always be accompanied by a nature guide. The itinerary winds through the right side of the Aosta Valley, through ancient villages and botanical rarities, to admire the spectacle of the booming peonies. You will have the opportunity to admire also the rare white peonies.
