Monterosa Prestige: adrenaline and high-altitude landscapes

Monterosa Prestige, the challenge for true mountain bike enthusiasts among some of the most iconic mountains in the Alps, is back to Brusson, in Val d'Ayas.

Two routes are proposed:

  • Marathon: 73 km and 2,885 m of positive altitude difference for the most trained bikers
  • Granfondo: 53 km and 1,976 m of altitude difference for those looking for an intense but accessible experience

The Granfondo route is also open to e-bikes, with a dedicated ranking and deferred start.
Both races wind through challenging climbs, technical single tracks and spectacular panoramas with views of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and Monte Rosa.
Monterosa Prestige is much more than a competition: it is an opportunity to pedal in one of the most beautiful natural settings in the Alps and experience a day of sport and nature at the highest levels.

Monterosa Bike Experience: three ways to experience the mountains on two wheels

Hopping on the saddle in Val d’Ayas is not just sport, but a journey through Alpine landscapes and authentic flavors. The Unsupported Bike Experience initiative takes you pedaling through mountain pastures and spectacular views with the freedom of an adventure all your own. No stopwatch, just you, your bike and a route to experience to the full, with GPS tracking and a self-supported spirit.

Choose your experience:

  • Road bike: from Brusson to Col de Joux, then down towards Sommarèse, back up to Col Tzecore and return passing through Challand-Saint-Ansèlme between hairpin bends and panoramic villages.
  • Gravel bike: dirt road variants on farm roads suspended over the central valley and along the suggestive Ru d’Arlaz.
  • MTB: a dream route to Tchavanna, with a view of Monte Rosa, then return through woods and streams passing through Champoluc.

For everyone: official jersey, tastings along the route and final lunch in Brusson.
An experience to be enjoyed without haste, but with the heart.
