The “Foire d’été” (Summer Fair) was started in 1969 to offer summer visitors to Valle d’Aosta an overview of local artisan production and an occasion for making purchases.

The exhibition includes around 400 exhibitors from the traditional sector - inlay and sculpture in wood and stone, wrought iron, wooden flowers - in addition to around seventy stands presenting more recent productions created in salt paste, dried flowers and fabrics.

The Foire has wound around the streets of the historic centre, it is held in August and offers visitors a change to rediscover a large outdoor festival.
